We first met Memorial Day 2014 at a day party at Capitale. It was hot, Ceci's hair was in a big bush, and Caleb had just gotten off another exhausting shift at DC National Airport. Little did we know it would be the first of many "firsts" we would experience together. Ceci and Beth (Bestie/Maid-of-Honor) happened to be at the bar ordering a round of Redbull when Caleb walked up to say hello to Beth, his colleague in training at the time. Beth introduced Caleb to Ceci, It was a pretty short hello and goodbye. The partying commenced because we were all off of work the next day (adulting at it's finest). Months had passed, probably almost close to a year... it was a random Wednesday in May when Beth requested Ceci's presence at a hookah bar for some weekday fellowship. Ceci thought nothing of it and took the metro over to H St. after work to meet Beth... and Caleb sitting at a booth with a round of cocktails. The rest is history. After the not-so-blind date, Ceci took Caleb's number, and agreed to get together soon. Sooner than later, Ceci sent Caleb a text for the first of three first date(s), because the not-so-blind date happy hour doesn't really count as the first, and the second one, well, Caleb asked for a re-do. Anyway... the organic chemistry just keeps on growing. ∞ Ceci's birthday is 8.8 and Caleb's birthday is 11.8: we've always felt like we had a special connection from numerology, and our Michigan home ties. From spontaneous happy hours, to homemade guacamole, Netflix and chill, infamous Fab-5 cookouts, Apartment T3 to international travel, endless date-nights and reaching new career heights, Caleb and Ceci look forward to having many more (first) experiences together (for infinity) as husband and wife. ∞
