Things To Do & Places to Eat

Mon Vert Cafe

28 Central Street, Woodstock, VT 05091
, (802) 457-7143

Stop by Mon Vert for a morning coffee or quick lunch bite before walking around Woodstock

Mountain Creamery

33 Central Street, Woodstock, VT 05091
, (802) 457-1715

The local greasy spoon is great for fighting off hangovers :) We recommend the cheddar bagel with apple (Caroline) or with bacon (Phil). Fun fact, the owner of the creamery used to also own the Juice Bar in ACK!

Woodstock Farmers' Market

979 West Woodstock Road, Woodstock, VT 05091
, (802) 457-3658

This is our favorite grocery store / sandwich shop. This market is simply the best. Their produce, prepared food, and sandwiches are amazing. Our go-to sandwich is the #2 w/out mayo and with foxes mustard.

Long Trail Brewing Company

5520 U.S. 4, Bridgewater, VT 05035
, (802) 672-5011

Say hi to our friends at Long Trail! We usually stop at Long Trail for a late lunch and beer on our way home from Killington. They specialize in delicious craft beer and pub food.

Worthy Kitchen

442 Woodstock Road, Woodstock, VT 05091
, (802) 457-7281

Comfort farm to table food with an awesome beer list. We love this spot and often stop here for dinner on our way up on Friday nights. This would also be a good spot to stop on your way home Sunday.

Simon Pearce

1760 Quechee Main Street, Hartford, VT 05059
, (802) 295-1470

Stop by and see the Simon Pearce glass blowers in action! This is one of our favorite spots near Woodstock for both retail therapy and dining :) On the food front, they have a great bar / pub menu as well as more formal dining overlooking a waterfall! We recommend stopping for dinner on your way up or for brunch on your way home.

Farmhouse Pottery

1837 West Woodstock Road, Woodstock, VT 05091
, (802) 457-7312

Woodstock is full of local artisans. Farmhouse Pottery is one of our favorites! We highly recommend you stop by and check out their store.

The Spa at the Woodstock Inn & Resort

14 The Green, Woodstock, VT 05091
, (802) 457-6697

This spa is one of our favorites! We highly recommend treating yourself to a spa day. Day passes are also available and will get you access to the sauna, hot tub, and steam rooms.

Mount Peg

Woodstock, VT 05091

Take a short hike up Mt. Peg. Fun fact: this is how Caroline and Corbet start most Saturday mornings in VT. It's a short hike, less than an hour round trip, but has a nice view of the valley from the top.

Mount Tom

Woodstock, VT 05091

For the more adventurous guest, we recommend hiking up Mt. Tom. This hike is a little longer and steeper than Mt. Peg, but it has a great view of Woodstock from the top! This hike will take you a little less than 2 hours round trip.

Suicide Six Downhill Ski Area

247 Stage Road, Pomfret, VT 05067
, (802) 457-6661

Woodstock's ski mountain and the home to one of the first ski lifts in the US. We will be skiing here Saturday morning :)

Killington Ski Resort

Killington, VT 05751

If you are looking to ski more on Sunday, we recommend heading over to Killington or Pico. Killington has more terrain and pitch than Suicide Six. Some of our favorite runs are: outer limits, devil's fiddle, devil's den, old superstar, julio, and vertigo. You should also make sure to check out the umbrella bars, jerk shack, and vista deck for an on-mountain beer

Woodstock Inn Nordic Center

76 South Street, Woodstock, VT 05091

For those looking to cross-country ski or fat bike, we recommend the Woodstock Inn's nordic center.
