Question

Are kids allowed at the reception? Are kids allowed at the reception?

Answer

Sunday's reception will be an adult-only event. Due to space and event location, guests under 21 are not invited or allowed to attend. No exceptions. If you will be visiting Nashville for the weekend and need assistance with locating a babysitter, please reach out to Caina directly. Kids are welcome to attend the family-friendly Welcome Party on Saturday evening.

Question

What time should I actually arrive? What time should I actually arrive?

Answer

We would love for you to join us for as long as you can at the reception. The event space will open to guests at 3:00pm for mingling, story reminiscing, photos, and games with the happy couple. We suggest arriving no later than 3:15pm. Our reception will end at 6:00pm and we will need to leave the event space by 6:15pm- if you're not ready to leave at 6:00pm the bar & restaurant below will continue to be open. For those visiting Nashville, we encourage you to explore the city's great food, music, and hidden gems (we are not exactly referring to Broadway). The bar below will also be open before 3:00pm if you arrive early and need a place to hang.

Question

What do I wear?What do I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. Ladies, wear your favorite little black dress, fancy dress, jumpsuits, or that one cute outfit you bought, but haven't found the right place to wear it. Men, dress up in your favorite button up, vest, smart casual suits, khakis, or slacks. Fun designs encouraged.

Question

Is there an open bar at the reception? Is there an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

Will there be more than beer? Will there be more than beer?

Answer

At the reception, bartenders will be offering craft beer, cider, wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails for our guests to enjoy at the celebration. Nonalcoholic beverages, like tea & lemonade, will be available as well.

Question

What about food?What about food?

Answer

We don't like the pressure of formal, sit-down meals. We have opted for our reception celebration to be just that, a celebration, not a meal. We will have a hot mashed potato bar available as a snack and to help soak up anything you may be sipping on. There will be vegetarian and vegan options available on the mashed potato bar.

Question

What about parking for the reception? What about parking for the reception?

Answer

There is a paid parking lot directly behind "Bar Jackalope at Jackalope Brewing Company". There is also free street parking along Houston, Humphreys, Brown, & Pillow Streets that are a short walk. We also strongly encourage ride-share to the reception if you will be enjoying the craft adult-beverages available.

Question

Where should I stay?Where should I stay?

Answer

We always recommend our friends and family check out Airbnb when visiting Nashville. The reception will be held in an area called Wedgewood-Houston. The great thing about Nashville is that just about everything is 20 minutes away from anything. Neighborhoods within 10-15 minutes of the reception we recommend are Glencliff/Woodbine, Charlotte Park/West Nashville, and Wedgewood-Houston, and Berry Hill. If Airbnb isn't your vibe, we have a feeling you can find your preferred rewards hotel of choice rather easily.

Question

Why is it at a brewery? Why is it at a brewery?

Answer

We have decided to host our nuptial reception at the brewery where we met. The home of legendary beer sounds like the perfect place to celebrate a legendary love. We locked eyes across the taproom at Jackalope Brewing Company's The Ranch on May 25, 2019. We look forward to celebrating our 6-year anniversary together with our friends and family in the same building where our meet-cute took place.
