Where to stay?

Answer

The Seashell Resort and Beach Club offers beautiful on-site accommodations. A discounted room block will be available for booking starting February 2026. Additional details to follow.

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place on the private beach of The Seashell. Our cocktail hour will then take place outside on the beautiful resort grounds, with the reception to follow indoors. Please bring a shawl or sweater if you tend to get chilly.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Thank you so much for asking! We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you can still join us and enjoy a night off!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please call The Seashell at 1 (609) 492-4611 to book under Sembler Wedding. The price of the room reflects the off season rate of $300+ tax.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to wear cocktail/formal attire. The bridal party will be wearing dusty rose/rosette colors.

When will I receive my formal invitation?

Answer

You should have received your formal invitation. If you did not receive it, please reach out to Caitlin or Bobby.

Will I have to travel once I arrive at The Seashell?

Answer

No! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even after party all take place on the resort grounds.

Question

Do I have to book a room?

Answer

You do not if you do not wish to stay the night. We actually booked our date for the start of the season to help lighten the traffic to and from the island. The reception also ends on the earlier end so guests who do not want to stay the night can head back home.
