Things To Do in Seattle

A snapshot of our favorite Seattle food, drink, and fun.

Morning Munchies

Cb's favorite Seattle breakfast: Geraldines (in Columbia City) Cb's favorite coffee: Monorail Espresso (downtown) or Olympia Coffee (in Columbia City) Drew's favorite Seattle brunch: Fonda La Catrina (in Georgetown) Drew's coffee recs: Coffeeholic (in Columbia City or Greenwood) or Fremont Coffee Joint favorite dim sum: Harbor City (in the International District) Joint favorite boba: Young Tea (in Wallingford)

Dinner Favorites

Ooink (ramen, in Capitol Hill) Ba Bar (Vietnamese, in Capitol Hill) Tacos Chukis (tacos, multiple locations, including Capitol Hill) Communion (Seattle soul food, in the Central District) Sisters and Brothers (hot chicken, in Interbay), pick it up and enjoy at Holy Moutain Brewing

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

An iconic Seattle classic! Wander through the stalls, grab a drink at Rachel's Ginger Beer, Cloudburst Brewing, or Radiator Whiskey, see the gum wall (Drew once licked it for $100!), find a view of the Sound, stand in line for Kashiba Sushi ($$$$), or enjoy pizza and people watch at Alibi Room. Bonus: Drew's favorite teriyaki restaurant, Okinawa Teriyaki, is a short walk away. He has the spicy chicken teriyaki with salad every Tuesday for lunch! (He claims to have had it over 300 times, which might be true given he still DoorDashed it during COVID).

Seattle Center

305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109

This houses the Space Needle, the Chihuly Glass Museum, MoPOP (Museum of Pop Culture), and KEXP (90.3 FM if you're listening locally). Be sure to stop by Taylor Shellfish for a round of Oysters!

Ballard Brewery Blocks

907 Northwest 50th Street, Seattle, WA 98107

13 Seattle brewery's all clustered within a few square blocks. Start at Cb's favorite, Lucky Envelope, then wander to Stoup (our friend, Zach, is a brewer here!!), and if you're up for something funky, check out Fair Isle! If you want to be extra naughty, after your beer crawl, head to Hot Cakes in downtown Ballard for Drew's favorite dessert, lava cake (and a scoop of ice cream). There is also a location in Capitol Hill if you feel enchanted by this idea.

Our Neighborhood Favs
