Question

What time should we arrive to the wedding Ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 4:00pm so plan to arrive around 3:45pm. You are welcome to arrive as early as 3:00pm to enjoy tea, lemonade and a walk in the gardens!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 25th, 2023 on the RSVP page on our website. Also, please let us know if you are hanging out with us at Oconee Brewing Friday, April 14th so we can let the brewery know how many people to expect. You will be able to RSVP for this right after RSVP-ing for the wedding.

Question

Where is The Wildflower 301?

Answer

The Wildflower 301 venue we are getting married at is located in Greensboro, Georgia. Greensboro is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Atlanta. The ceremony and reception will be held at The Wildflower 301. The wedding hangout at Oconee Brewing the night before the wedding is also in Greensboro. Please keep this location in mind when planning your travels for our wedding weekend! We can't wait to see you there!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have a block at Tru by Hilton Greensboro. It is an 8 min drive from the venue. Visit the Travel page on our website for the Sams Davis Wedding hotel block booking link. The rooms are blocked until April 5th, 2023. After that, the rooms are open to the public and first come first served.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking on centuries old cobblestone in. The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal. Anything you would wear to an outdoor, spring garden wedding party will be perfect! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be inside.

Question

What food will be at the reception?

Answer

We are having a buffet style grilled pizza bar, crostinis, Caesar salad, grilled mixed vegetables, and smoked Gouda mac & cheese.

Question

Are you having an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please refrain from using your phone or camera during our ceremony. We have hired a photographer and videographer so that we can all experience the special moment together without the distraction of phones. But when it comes to the reception, feel free to take as many fun pictures and videos as your heart desires! Go crazy! We'd love if you shared them with us as well.
