In Spring of 2013, Bailey and Kyle were a part of a study group at CSU. For some reason or another, Bailey had invited Caylin to come over to the study group (even though she didn't have anything to study for) and this is where Kyle and Caylin first met. That evening, Kyle offered to go buy everyone in the study group Taco Bell (because no one was actually studying, of course!). Caylin, trying to be considerate, told Kyle that he didn't have to get her anything but once he had offered again, Caylin sarcastically responded with something like "Ok, well if you insist." From there, Kyle and Caylin continued to get to know each other more as they spent time in their favorite places in Old Town and went on motorcycle rides up in the mountains. Caylin and Kyle had their first date on July 24, 2013 where they went to the Melting Pot and the night ended with him being brave enough to teach her how to drive stick shift with his car. From there, everything fell together and here we are today!

On July 7, 2018, Bailey was home for the week and wanted to do a Fort Collins day. Bailey, Kyle and Caylin had talked about some typical Fort Collins things to do including going up Poudre Canyon to do some fishing and hiking. In the morning, Bailey and Caylin first had a meeting with a vendor for Bailey's wedding so they would meet Kyle afterwards up the canyon. Once they had found Kyle by the Poudre River, Caylin walked down to him where he was standing on the bank of the river. Once she got down by the river, Kyle got down on one knee and popped the question!
