FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code that needs to be followed?

Answer

Yes! In celebration of New Year’s Eve, we invite our guests to dress in elevated, all-black formalwear. Think black gowns, suits, pantsuits, tuxedos, or sophisticated formal ensembles. We also encourage wearing black heels, dress shoes, or formal sneakers to compliment the attire. Dress to impress to ring in the new year!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, we are keeping our wedding day small and intimate. For this reason, we are only able to include the guests named on each invitation. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a night off celebrating with us.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 15th

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly as scheduled.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue. Please refer to the “Schedule” or “Location” tab for the full address and directions.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there will be on-site parking available for guests.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors.

Question

What accommodations are nearby?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at the Residence Inn by Marriott Tysons and at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Herndon-Reston. Booking information can be found under the “Travel” section.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are planning an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask guests to silence their phones and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Your presence alone is a gift. However, as we begin this next chapter, we have chosen to invest in experiences rather than household items. In lieu of a traditional registry, we have created a honeymoon fund where guests may contribute toward thoughtfully selected experiences that will shape our first adventure as newlyweds. Registry details can be found under the “Registry” tab.

Question
