Todd and Caylee met August 8th of 2024. It didn’t take long for them to realize the first date, would be their last first date. Todd asked Caylee to be his girlfriend only 20 days later. It didn’t take him long to say those three little words (I love you), but Caylee didn’t say it back at first. All she could muster at the time was “Thank you”. But less than a week later it slipped out. By November of 2024, Todd was secretly conversing with Caylee’s sister, Cassie about a ring. She helped him pick the perfect one, but if you ask Cassie “He did it all”. Then all he had to do was find the prefect time to ask her. And that was only two months later, in January of 2025. He was very awkward one night before bed. They were doing their normal night time routine. Caylee had gotten up from the couch to take the dogs out one last time and Todd randomly said “can you come open this for me”. Caylee said “No! You’re not doing it like this! You better drop and give me a speech.” And he sure did right in the middle of the kitchen. Caylee cried and dropped to the floor then finally said yes. Then yelled “I GOTTA CALL MY SISTER!” Like she didn’t know! Caylee also hit her head on the kitchen counter trying to get up off the floor. Now they were engaged and Caylee was already starting to plan her dream wedding. She had big plans. Then realized they aren’t rich and weddings are so expensive it’s crazy. So she slowed her roll a bit. Kept pushing the date. Then randomly Todd thought “Ima buy a house.” So they had a big decision to make. Have a big wedding or buy a house and secure their future. So they went with the house (duh!). They decided a courthouse wedding would be perfect (mostly so he could wear shorts and a racing tee). Of course they still wanted to celebrate with those closest to them. So here we are. Todd and Caylee can’t wait to celebrate their union with you all. Here’s to forever!! 🍾🥰
