Why this venue??

Answer

We know the venue is a bit unconventional, but that’s actually part of what made us fall in love with it. It offers beautiful, peaceful surroundings that really let everyone slow down and celebrate together in a more intentional way. To make things easier for everyone, we’ve arranged a couple of options: -Free tent camping on the property if you’re up for a little adventure under the stars. -A FREE shuttle to and from the Pinemark Inn, so you can stay in comfort and be able to FULLY TURN UP without having to worry about driving! We truly hope this helps make the experience not only memorable but also convenient and inclusive for all our guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

YES! In your RSVP (on your official invite not the “save the date”) make sure you mark if you want transportation to and from the Pinemark Inn. For getting to the venue, we will send you a pickup schedule to make things run smoothly and to be sure everyone makes it on time. For rides back to your hotel, you can ask to leave at any time! They will start running every 15 minutes an hour before the reception ends.

Is the venue hard to get to?

Answer

If you aren't used to country back roads, then this might be a challenge for you! Our venue is in the woods, so to get there, you have to venture off the beaten path. Remember, we have a shuttle that will take you to the hotel if you don't feel comfortable driving back roads.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We have the campground for the entire weekend, and we invite you to join us from Saturday during the day into Sunday morning. Saturday treat yourself to a day at the lake while we get ready for the wedding! They have hiking trails, water sports, games, swimming, fishing, kayaking and more all on the premise that are open to all of our guests. Sunday goodbye breakfast at 10am. Even if you choose to stay in a hotel nearby you are welcome to come join us at the campgrounds at any time!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes. Reception and ceremony are in the same place too so BONUS!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Not really. We love all the babies, but due to the size of our families only our nieces, nephews, and 1st cousins children are invited to this event! Sorry!

Am I expected to dance and party hard?

Answer

YES!!!!! Please don’t come if you are gonna be LAME. We are CELEBRATING and Caylee loves to dance!! Cut loose and have some fun!

If I stay at the campground what should I bring?

Answer

Whatever you need for a comfy stay! At the camp grounds there are bathrooms, outdoor showers, a community kitchen, grill, tables, chairs, tents, and everything you need to entertain yourself such as kayaks, water noodles etc. Bring a sleeping bag, BYOB, food, any snacks you may need, toiletries for showering, swimsuit, and anything else you can think of that is needed for a good time! Bring anything you would take camping!
