Welcome to our Love Story

We went to high school together. Same grade, same school, same graduation but never a word between the two of us. I guess you could say we ran with different crowds, although we may have had a few mutual friends.

On this date I received a message on Facebook with a simple “Hey”. Little did I know this message would be the beginning of the rest of my life. We quickly made plans to hang out and hanging out quickly turned into going on dates. I fell for Brandon so fast.

We began talking about all the years of being in school together and questioned why we were never friends especially with quite a few mutual friends. A couple months later we decided to move in together. We moved way fast but I wouldn’t take it back for anything. I loved coming home on rough days to be greeted by open arms and a shoulder. The good days were even better to come home on. I had never felt like this before, genuinely happy with someone this way. We talked a lot about buying houses and cars, getting married, going to New York and many other things. This seemed like forever.

On January 13, 2018 Brandon decided to make a huge decision and ask me to be his wife. We were getting all dressed up to spend a night out at TopGolf. I spent a little extra time picking out my outfit, fixing my hair and doing my make up. Brandon was pacing the house as I was getting ready and I had no idea what was going on with him. As we were about to walk out the front door Brandon told me “I need to cover your eyes. I wrecked my truck earlier and it’s pretty bad.” I was a little confused to why I had to be blinded and slowly walked to the porch but I agreed. As soon as the front door opened and Brandon removed his hands from my eyes, I saw my mom, Brian, my sister, Brandon’s mom and Matt. Anyone who knows me knows that I was still a little confused. When I turned around to ask Brandon what was going on I saw the most handsome man in the world down on one knee. Brandon spoke to me the words that will forever be my favorite “I love you. Will you marry me Caylee Jordan Snider? Be my wife.” That was the most beautiful, most memorable moment of my life so far. That night we celebrated at TopGolf where we were surrounded by family and friends who were so excited for us! This is only the beginning of our journey together. I can’t wait for the rest of this adventure!
