The future Mr. & Mrs. Lauer

We met the typical way any other couple meets in the middle of a global pandemic…on Hinge! We then had our first date at Bungalow Heights in Houston, TX. We had 3 more dates in the following 6 days and the rest is history!

Barrett made brunch reservations at a super cute restaurant in Beacon Hill. After a sleepy morning at home we both got ready for brunch. On the way out of the apartment Barrett decided we should walk. About halfway down the street Barrett said “I have a surprise for you”. At that time, Caylee saw her good friend Emma crouching down between cars hiding (this was not the plan nor the surprise meant to be seen). Caylee screamed and hugged Emma and Barrett said, “I have another surprise” which is when he led Caylee into the street and got down on one knee, Caylee of course said YES! We spent the rest of the day having brunch, walking around Boston, shopping and FaceTiming friends and family.
