Neither of us expected to meet the love of our life on a dating app, but we guess that’s just how it goes in the 21st century! It may not have been love at first swipe, but our immediate ability to make each other laugh laid a strong foundation for our relationship to come. After just a few short months, we started dating in January of 2023. The next two years were spent falling in love over shared bowls of popcorn, breakfasts at our favorite cafe, Taylor Swift, and endless amounts of laughter. We moved in together, enjoyed a few short vacations, and gradually blended our lives into one. On April 1st, 2025, Cayla proposed during a cozy evening at home. Much like our relationship, the proposal was the perfect blend of humor and heart. We cannot wait to say “I do” on May 30th of 2027!
