What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

This is a scary time! While Jalen and I would like everyone to come out and celebrate with us, we also want all of our closest friends and family to remain safe and healthy. We kindly request that our guests get vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending our wedding. We understand this is a personal decision. In lieu of vaccination, the CDC recommends wearing masks to protect yourselves and others from spreading this virus. We will not be checking vaccination cards to respect your privacy. However, we do hope you’ll be honest and wear a mask if you are not vaccinated.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding starts at 5:30pm. There are 70 seats total for our ceremony. Close family will sit in the RSVP section. We kindly ask that the younger generations save these seats for our wisest generation. There is a beautiful stairwell overlooking the ceremony that overflow guests can stand in for our short and sweet ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal attire! Examples include: Cocktail dresses, skirt separates dark suits and ties strappy sandals, heels, or flats dress shoes, dark socks

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire event will take place indoors. Guests can explore the outdoor grounds during the cocktail hour if you wish to step outside. There is a fire pit. This is a winter wedding, so please check the weather that day and bring hats, coats, and scarves to be comfortable when traveling to the wedding! Can children attend the wedding?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninterrupted merriment, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style dinner. Dinner will be followed with delicious wedding cake that features three different flavor combinations!

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

There will be a space on your RSVP card to write any dietary restrictions so we can address them with the caterer. Please reach out to Jalen and I directly if something comes up in the mean time!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will be open for the first 3 hours of the reception, the rest of the night will be a cash bar.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Jalen and I have selected a wonderful videographer and photographer to capture this day! We ask guests to come enjoy and be in the moment with us. Jalen and I will distribute wedding photos and videos upon request.

Your presence is present enough! However, if you would like to bring a gift to our wedding, it is much appreciated! There will be a gift table near the front entrance.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

The reception will end at 11 PM with a sparkler send-off! Please do not feel obligated to stay the entire time. There is no after-party but there are plenty of nice places to end the night in Downtown Greensboro!
