Archie and Cayla met the modern way — on Hinge, in August of 2021, post-COVID chaos. After being locked inside for what felt like a decade, they were both more than ready for something real… and let’s just say, they swiped right on forever. For their first date, Archie took Cayla to Suga-Hi, a breakfast spot he found in Nashville. Between the music, the food, and the butterflies, it was clear: this wasn’t just any date. Cayla was first drawn to Archie’s handsome smile (can you blame her?), but it was his warmth and intelligence that truly stole her heart. Archie? He knew Cayla was his type the second he saw her, and her quick wit, big dreams, and creative spark had him hooked. She lit up every conversation, and before long, his heart was hers. When Cayla met Archie’s daughter, Kori, it was nothing short of magic. She arrived with stuffed animals, candy, and — somehow — Kori’s favorite gum. “How’d you know?” Kori asked with a smile. In that moment, a special bond began to bloom, and Cayla knew this was the beginning of something truly meaningful. Since then, it’s been a wild ride — birthdays, passports, and roller coasters (literally). Whether they were flying across the globe or screaming on amusement park rides, life was just more fun together. Fast forward to just shy of three years later—Cayla had a feeling something was up. Archie was acting… suspicious. On March 8th, Cayla’s 32nd birthday, he dropped to one knee and asked Cayla to be his wife. She said yes — without hesitation. Just when they thought their hearts couldn’t hold any more love, they received the most incredible news: they would be bringing a new life into the world. A baby girl. Now, Archie and Cayla are excited to begin this next chapter of their love story — not just as partners, but as parents together — building a home filled with laughter, growing through every season, and continuing to explore the world, hand in hand… with one more little hand to hold, Edynn.
