Alex and Cayci both attended Seton Hill University where they had Spanish 2 together in the Spring semester of their freshman year. But it was at a party at the wrestling house where they officially met and talked for the first time. It was a couple of years before Alex and Cayci started dating. February 14th, 2021 to be exact (exactly 3 years after they hungout for the first time, and yes on Valentine's Day). Once they graduated with their undergraduate degrees, Cayci moved to Pittsburgh to attend the University of Pittsburgh and receive her MSW while Alex stayed at SHU to finish playing football and get his MBA. Their schedules were hectic but they made it through, traveling back and forth to see each other. Alex graduated from Seton Hill (again!!) and eventually the time was right for them to move into their first apartment together. Centrally located between Pittsburgh and Greensburg, Alex and Cayci moved into a cute little apartment in Monroeville making both of their work commutes easier. Moving to Monroeville meant Cayci's cat Rheya became an only child for the first time ever. That's when Alex and Cayci decided to add Nala to the family. Raising Nala on the third floor of an apartment building was quite the task. She quickly made them realize that they needed more space. Thankfully they found a cozy three-level townhouse with plenty of space for Nala and Rheya to run around. Finally it was time, they were both ready to get engaged and take on the next steps in life. April 27, 2025 Alex proposed to Cayci after a hike with some of their favorite people and Nala's doggo friends. The rest is history!
