At Last, Sydney and Jacob are tying the knot!

The bride and groom grew up in the same small hometown of New Palestine, IN. The two met each other back in 2010. They had remained mutual friends throughout the years. When the universe, finally, decided to align, the couple ran into each other, in the fall of 2017, while out with mutual friends. As they mingled over vodka club sodas, Syd was smitten over the idea of going out on a date with Jake. Later that weekend, Sydney threw the ball in Jake's court with a "so nice to see you & catch up text". A week went by and Jake decided to ask Sydney out on a date. Sydney reluctantly said yes and after some good food, wine, and great company - the rest was history!

In May, Jake cheered Syd on while she graduated from IUPUI with her bachelors degree. And Syd cheered Jake on as he made a career change, where he decided to work in the well drilling business with his step-father.

Jake graduated college with a bachelors degree from IUPUI. Syd also decided it was time for a change of scenery with her career and changed paths to work at the bank. They both began digging in roots to begin their future. Syd and Jake took their first vacation together, international style - where Jake popped the question on the first night, in Los Cabos, Mexico!

In the spring, they purchased their first home for their fur baby, Mila Tate!
