Mackinac Island
No cars, just bikes and horse-drawn carriages. Go for the day, take the ferry, rent bikes, walk the shoreline or explore the historic sites like the Grand Hotel!
Petoskey State Park
Easy beach access and wooded trails along Lake Michigan. A good low-key morning plan! Make sure to look for Petoskey stones!
Harbor Springs
Five minutes across the bay. Small harbor town, good lunch spots, nice place to wander for an hour or two. Go a little north and take a scenic drive through Tunnel of Trees!

Charlevoix is a picturesque stop for shopping, dining and strolling along Round Lake.

Famous for its towering sand dunes and amazing Lake Michigan views. Take a shot at climbing the dunes or enjoy the views!

Torch Lake
Beautiful, clear turquoise water. We recommend renting a boat for a day if you can!
