How do I get around the Island?

Answer

The main mode of transportation on the island is golf cart. Most everything on the island is a five-minute golf cart ride away! Make sure you book your golf cart in advance of your arrival. Please contact Rebecca East at rebecca@lifestyledgroup.com to book a golf cart. Please note, on Harbour Island they drive on the left side of the road.

Do I need Bahamian currency?

Answer

No. U.S. dollars are accepted everywhere, but if you use cash, you will most likely receive change in Bahamian dollars. Be sure to bring cash upon your arrival for the taxi and water taxi to get to the island. Most of the stores and restaurants take credit cards, but a few are cash only, so be sure to ask before dining.

Groceries

If you are renting a house and would like to pick up groceries, the Pigly Wigly store right in town has all the basics. Call Captain Bob's Market ahead of time to order fresh fish to pick up once you arrive (242-333-3628).

Beach Access

Answer

Gain access to the beach through the entrance at the Ocean View Club, at Coral Sands Hotel, or from the public access next to Coral Sands. Most Wedding guests will be gathering on the beach in front of/around the Ocean View Club!
