Hi everyone! Tomorrow is the big day! Head back here a few minutes before 2pm for the link to the livestream. Since it is a livestream, you will not have to worry about webcams or sound. You'll be able to see and hear everything, but we cannot see/hear you. Feel free to wear your comfy clothes and enjoy the ceremony. We love you all and can't wait to get married!

We love you all very much and want to celebrate with a large, in-person vow renewal/wedding reception when current events are a bit better. For now, join us for a unique wedding, during unique times!

Circa 2009... On a small tan couch with questionable stains and permanent body indents, lies a softly snoring Ryan, utilizing his perfected skill of sleeping any time, any place, any where. That "where" being the main classroom of the MassCommunications Department of Rock Valley College on the first day of a new semester. As his string of drool gently dries, in walks Catt: a tiny latina with a backpack filled with more snacks than textbooks. Scene hair teased enough to add a solid inch to her height (very important), those first-day jitters melted away when something caught her eye. Lying prone on a nasty couch, lay a freckled-up metalhead with his mouth open in deep sleep. He was hot. The MassComm professor walks into the room (Brian Shelton) and loudly says, "Ryan..." and the megababe wakes up. He's the student worker. And he's even hotter awake than asleep. Suddenly, college doesn't seem so scary anymore. Circa 2010... Ryan takes Catt on their very first date. He plans a surprise trip to Navy Pier in Chicago, to see Alice in Wonderland on IMAX in 3D. The young lovers miss the train into the city, because they are young and think time has no meaning. They drive into the city, bonding over music and school projects. Ryan buys Catt astronaut ice cream and a giant bucket of popcorn that he finishes almost completely by himself. He pays their parking garage fee after the movie and proceeds to makeout with Catt for 16 minutes in the car which then garners a second parking fee because yet again, time has no meaning to those who are in love.

Circa 2011-2020... More fun is had. More fun than expected. And how fast time did fly...the happy couple finish the MassComm program, move-in together, start new careers, enjoy countless concerts, vacations, sleeping in until 2pm and staying up until 4am. They rescue a cat and a dog. They endure unimaginable loss. They purchase a home. They create an unbreakable foundation lasting 10+ years, making it official with an engagement during a global pandemic, in New Orleans, LA. Ryan and Catt are getting married. Forever is not perfect and neither are they, but that tiny latina and freckled-up metalhead did something right. Here's to those guys.
