Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please rsvp no later that August 18th. This is to help the coordinator for the ceremony and to make sure any information for catering is complete per our contract.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Yes and no. If you let us know before August 18th it will not be an issue. If it is after the 18th, we will not be able to accommodate the +1. Please contact the Bride with the persons information and relation to you.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4pm sharp (weather permitting). Please arrive at the ceremony location by 3:30. The parking is paid parking so make sure you pay that at the kiosks before heading to the ceremony. Carpooling is high suggested!

How will I know where on the beach the ceremony is at?

Answer

We have a wedding coordinator for the ceremony that is facilitating the set up on the beach. When you go to one of beach entrances you will see chairs set up for you on the beach for you.

How far is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

It is only .5 miles away! If you are staying at the Element hotel, you are more than welcome to walk to and from reception if you like. It is at the Ebb and Flow located at the hotel.

What should I wear?

Answer

We're aiming for a relaxed, elegant coastal vibe. Maxi dresses, midi dresses, dressy sandals, linen pants, khakis, polos, button-down shirts, and lightweight sport coats are all great choices. Comfort and style are both welcome!

What should I avoid wearing?

Answer

Our wedding party will be dressed in dusty blue, and the groom will be wearing a tan linen suit. We kindly ask guests to choose other colors so they can stand out on our special day and for our photography. And, of course, we'll be saving white and ivory for the bride!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to be fully present during our ceremony and leave photography to our professional photographer. We would love for you to take photos and celebrate with us during the reception! There will be a group photo of all guests at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Have you reserved a hotel block?

Answer

Yes we have a hotel block. On the travel page, the button will take you directly to the the discounted hotel rates. We have the block from Sept 17th to Sept 21st. If you need any help please reach out to Skyler or Catrina. The block will be held until August 18th so please book your stay before that date.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Answer

Yes. The hotel has valet parking and it is discounted for our guests who stay at the Element.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! We will have several options of appetizers for you to choose from prior to dinner. Dinner will be served family-style and includes: Caesar salad, roasted corn & tomato shooters, grilled ribeye with caramelized onions and mushrooms, scallop & crab stuffed sole with dill butter, pancetta & brussel sprout hash, truffle whipped potatoes, and chocolate mousse martinis for dessert.

Can I use the pool during the reception?

If you are staying at the hotel yes! Per the hotel policy, only guests staying at the hotel can have access to the pool.

Will there be drinks available at the reception?

Answer

Yes! A cash bar will be open throughout the reception from with beer, wine, and cocktails available. We look forward to spending a relaxed evening celebrating with you!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For those who have asked about a registry, we are fortunate to already have many of the things we need for our home. Instead, we have created a honeymoon fund to help us make lasting memories as we begin this next chapter together. For guests who would prefer to give a card, a card box will be available at the reception. Any gift, contribution, or simply your presence is deeply appreciated.
