What are things to do?
Answer
Other than the pools, activities, restaurants, and spas on the hotel grounds, our stay also includes access to all the Grupo Xcaret parks (https://www.hotelxcaret.com/en/all-fun-inclusive/). Some parks and restaurants do require reservations! We will be planning some group excursions to our favorite parks and restaurants, please go ahead and fill out this poll so we can coordinate the best we can: https://forms.gle/S9MTPQN1Ynekb7zy6 Because everyone has different arrival and departure times, we made this rough schedule of what Guy & I are going to request from the concierge for ourselves. We would absolutely love for everyone to join us on what we're doing, but feel free to branch out and explore on your own! We only ask that people make it to 1) the wedding (lol) and 2) the Tuesday night dinner at 7PM. If you do decide to join us, the hotel let us know that it is still best for each room to reserve parks and restaurants separately so they can manage themselves. You should have received an email from Shea about how to reserve, let us know if you need that info again!

What should I expect from checkout?

Make sure to leave *ample* time to checkout before you're scheduled to leave- it takes a while especially if you're going to purchase a photo package (which we definitely recommend).

What about tipping?

You can tip in USD, and we recommend bringing a lot of $1s for tipping. A basic rule of thumb is every time you interact with a person (room service, pool service, restaurant service) give them ~$2-5 per small group in tip.

We'll have a speeches portion of our reception! They are welcome and optional for anyone.
