Our love for each other began to unfold right after his mother decided to be our unforeseen matchmaker. Unexpectedly, his mother decided to approach me and share her thought that her son and I would be a perfect match for each other. I never met her son before and vice versa. With contentment, his mother decided to share one of her favorite pictures of her son on her phone for me to view. Seeing him through picture for the first time, I thought he was a good looking guy. As time progressed, we both ended up exchanging phone numbers, but had no idea that today we’d find ourselves head over heels in love. Our first date took place at a local restaurant during a summer’s evening. There was a genuine connection between us which led us to conversed for a long period of time during that special moment at a great atmosphere. Following a new day, we continued to FaceTime and spoke on the phone frequently and went out on more dates after where our connection continued to deepen right after with boldness he asked me to be his girlfriend. From that point forward, our relationship continued to blossom through shared memories through the enjoyment of going to Dave & Busters: reliving childhood fun and having competitive fun, exploring new towns/cities through long car rides, and trying out different restaurants which we can both agree that is one of our favorite things to do together. Growth from our relationship revealed to us that we both shared similarities in personality both having a sense of humor, openness to trying out new things together etc. Also, differences didn’t create distance; instead, they became the starting point for new stories and shared memories. Every moment, every challenge, and every joy has drawn us closer. Our love journey was definitely God’s plan and shows that his timing is always perfect. Just two people who wouldn’t have never met if it weren’t a perfect match made by heaven. Therefore, we are overjoyed to be embarking on this new chapter as future husband and wife by standing steadfast on our promises made to each other.
