- If you are flying in, choose San Jose Airport. Only fly into San Francisco Airport if you plan to spend a couple days in the city.

- If you are flying in, it's highly recommended to rent a car. There are shuttle services from the Airport, but it is nice to have a car in Santa Cruz.

- If you are driving yourself from the airport, take extra precaution on Hwy 17. Drive slow and don't feel intimidated by the crazy drivers, just let them go around you. Do not drive Hwy 17 at night unless you are used to it.

- June 14th is also UCSC graduation day, so families will be flying in and booking up hotel rooms. Please book your hotel as early as you can.
