We’re getting married!

In the fall of 2017, Catrice Chaney moved from Michigan to Chicago for a great job opportunity. While adjusting to the big city life, Catrice knew that she was ready to start dating. In June of 2019, she met the love of her life Aaron Bottoms. They had their first date at Blue Sushi Sake Grill in beautiful downtown Naperville and sparks flew. During the next 2 years Catrice and Aaron created memories of hiking and fishing, traveling and cooking, laughing and learning, and embracing their similarites and differences. On June 11, 2021 during their picnic date, Aaron suggested that they take a short walk around the LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve. After a few moments of small talk, Aaron got down on bended knee and proposed. With excitement, Catrice said yes!
