This love story started as most others do, with a live intercept of a MRBM with an SM-3 Blk IIA.... Matt didn't make a move initially so it fell into the hands of a couple of co-workers who, mostly jokingly, created H&G Dating Services. They have a 100% success rate to-date, but unwilling to ruin their perfect record they retired after "setting us up". For those of you who don't understand the first paragraph... Matt and I met at work after a successful Flight Test Mission. A bunch of us went to our favorite nearby bar to celebrate, a place where we would soon find ourselves almost every Wednesday for their Whiskey Wednesday specials. Like I said earlier, Matt obviously did not make any sort of move when we first met. Months went by and a group of us quickly bonded over Game of Thrones. Although Harry and Gianni like to take the credit for our love story unfolding, Matt did eventually muster up the courage to ask me out. Our first date was to the now non-existent Clyde's (a Salhab Family favorite) and a walk around the lake with Sabre. I was hooked the moment those big brown eyes looked into mine... Sabre's obviously. After some time I realized that Matt wasn't so bad either, and we quickly realized how compatible we truly were. After that first date, the rest was history. On a hot August day, Matt tricked me into thinking he had to work late so we drove to work separately. Little did I know he left work early to surprise me at home. I walked through the front door and he dropped to one knee, making 2020 the best year so far. It feels like we've known each other forever and we're so looking forward to beginning this next chapter of our lives together. We think 2021 is going to be the best year yet!
