Emma was the first of three little sisters Madelyn welcomed into the world. She proudly claims she potty trained Emma and treasures memories of holding hands with her through her Ducky blanket. Her favorite part of weddings? The heartfelt toasts.

Gloria Gloria (Glo) is a California girl living in LA who loves the sun, serves as a children’s minister, and spends her free time crafting, and finding new ways to experience culture around her city. As Emma’s little sister, some of her most memorable moments are the long high school car rides together. Her favorite part of weddings is the vows, when the promises become real.

Nicholas met David freshman year at KU, where they became SigEp fraternity brothers and roommates throughout college. Now an architect based in Denver, Colorado, Nicholas loves skiing, snowboarding, camping, hiking, rafting, golf, and just about any sport — but most of all spending time with his wife and two kids. Some of his favorite memories with David include a legendary bachelor party in Maine (complete with David’s New England accent and crab socks at the wedding) and an unforgettable two-day festival in Denver. At Nicholas’ wedding, he offered $100 for the best wedding party intro, of course, David won.

Audrey is a student who loves horse riding, art, and getting lost in a good book, and she’s known Emma literally since birth, Emma’s her big sister. Some of her favorite memories are all the times Emma dyed her hair and the sweet bonding conversations they shared during those moments. She can talk with her mouth closed (party trick!), and she’s most excited for the preparation, and the FIRST married kiss!
Spencer Boland

Spencer works in Financial Planning & Analysis at H&R Block and enjoys going to the gym, biking, playing sand volleyball, kickball, and golf, and watching sports. He met David in 2011 during their freshman year at KU as SigEp fraternity brothers, where they shared a room in the fraternity house. David brought the futon, Jake brought the mini fridge, and Spencer brought the TV. One of his favorite memories is those first days of college, navigating the excitement of independence and the transition to college life together. His favorite part of weddings is dancing, socializing, and celebrating the newlyweds.
Morgan Rose

Morgan met Emma through a theater group in middle school. She’s a social worker who loves horseback riding, her farm animals, and good books. Her favorite memory with Emma is their terrifying middle-of-the-night adventure in the mountains of North Carolina, where they accidentally drove a very scary scenic highway that’s popular with thrill seekers. She loves drinking pickle juice, and her favorite part of weddings is seeing the couple’s personalities come together to bring their whole vision to life.

Lauren is David’s big sister, she met him on a Kansas Day in 1989 and was the first to hold him. A lawyer by training, she now works as an administrator at KU and loves baking, traveling, and spending time with her two kids and dog. One of her favorite memories with David is that he was the first to know her first born, Declan was a boy. He kept the secret perfectly! He also earned the nickname “Possum” after faking sleep on a childhood road trip. Her favorite part of weddings is celebrating the happy couple.

Anne is a 6th grade English teacher and hobby ceramicist who met Emma in 6th grade homeschool PE. From being attached at the hip all through high school, to helping each other land their first jobs, learn to drive, and room together in college, they’ve done life side by side. Her favorite part of any wedding is the dancing. she’ll be the first one on the floor!
