The beginning of our forever

The question that will live with us forever is, who really is the reason we met? If our story is not a true testament to fate, then I do not know what is! All the connections that brought us together is pretty wild and kind of hard to connect all the dots when trying to put the story into words. But lets just say it ended with Alex, my sister, and Nate, Matt's good friend, being the reason we were both out and at the same place... that being Tin Roof (& knowing Matt now, I am so surprised he went considering he strongly dislikes that place, except for the fact that's where we first met). Thank goodness for an extremely bold side of me that I had never seen before, or we would have never met. I had spotted him talking to Nate but hadn't actually talked to him myself, next thing I know he was gone but shortly after Nate was calling Matt up to get back to the bar, because a girl was there wanting to meet him... that being me. LOL We hit it off and talked each others ears off the whole night. Next thing you know, fast forward a little over a week later, and we were on our first date at Silvio's! & look where we are now! ♥

Well our first official date together started at Silvio's and then fast forward to February 20, 2020 and we are back at Silvio's celebrating a late birthday dinner for me, with just the two of us. Me being completely blind just thought he had tried to re-create our first date for my birthday by getting us the same exact table we had on our first date, but little did I know what I was in for. We had finished dinner, loaded up the to-go box and were about to head out when Matt turns me around, gets down on one knee, and pops the big question! Of course tears of joy just start a flowing as I say YES! & then even better I turn around to see our family and some close friends had been hiding out in the hallway waiting to celebrate this special moment with us! It meant everything to have them there on this special day of ours! The owner of Silvio's even stayed open two extra hours that night just for us to celebrate! It was definitely one of the most unforgettable and most memorable nights of our lives.
