Catlin Gesford

Bride

Catlin was raised in Clarks Summit, PA. As a kid Catlin was involved in pageants, baton twirling, cheerleading and gymnastics. At 7 years old Catlin found dance. By the end of high school Catlin was dancing 15+ hours a week and teaching many hours as well. After graduating high school, Catlin continued her education at The College at Brockport. Catlin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance and theatre. After graduation Catlin and Matt moved to Myrtle Beach, SC to start their careers. Catlin started working as an associate at local retail store, later becoming a full time manager. Catlin also worked as a dance teacher at two local dance studio before opening her own studio. In August of 2016 Catlin opened her dance studio, The Premier School of Dance.

Matt Moreland

Groom

Matt was raised in Baldwinsville, NY. At a young age Matt realized he was bigger than everyone else his age, so he decided to start playing football. While participating in football, playing for The Baldwinsville Bees, he excelled going on to win multiple championship throughout his high school years. After graduating from C.W. Baker High School he went on to college. First, playing for the Assumption Greyhounds in Worcester, MA. Later, deciding to transfer to The College at Brockport where he finished his football career as a Brockport Golden Eagle. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and a minor in coaching. After graduating Matt moved to Myrtle Beach, SC to start his career. He now works for The City of Myrtle Beach and Safelite Autoglass.

Matthew Lynady

Matthew met Catlin when they started dancing together when they were in the 4th grade. Throughout the years there friendship blossomed and they became the best of friends. Though they both went their separate ways after graduating high school, they were still just a phone call away.

Sean Coyne

Best Man

Sean and Matt grew up living in the same neighborhood as kids. They both attended C.W. Baker High School where their friendship started. They both enjoyed playing basketball and working out together. Both attended The College at Brockport where they were roommates.

Georden Gesford

Maid of Honor

Georden, the younger of Catlin's two sisters, has known Catlin for the entirety of her 21 years of life. She grew up driving Catlin crazy, doing her best to be exactly like her older sister. As they grew older they grew closer.

Evan Niciphor

Evan and Matt met while working for The City of Myrtle Beach. Later Evan got Matt a job working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. While working together both at jobs Evan and Matt's friendship flourished into the great friendship they have today.

Mackenzie Sullivan

Mackenzie and Catlin met as freshman dance majors at The College at Brockport. They developed a strong friendship through out their years at Brockport. They grew closer as housemates their senior year of college.

Kyle Herring

Kyle and Matt met while working together at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Kyle and Matt share the same love for beer and bar food.

Chloe Leibrick

Chloe and Catlin first met as dance majors at The College at Brockport. Though their friendship was not immediate, they grew closer as the years went on. Chloe and Catlin both share the same love for Office Max and new stationary.

Nate Salisbury

Nate and Matt met as freshman at The College at Brockport. Both studied the same major, physical education, while in college. They later went on to be roommates.

Allyson Delany

Allyson and Catlin first met at their freshman college orientation. They reconnected when they both started as dance majors at The College at Brockport. Their friendship further developed through years of dancing together both in class and on the dance team.

Mike McCarthy

Mike and Matt met while in high school through mutual friend, Sean Coyne. Their friendship developed while playing basketball. They later reconnected while attending school at The College at Brockport.

Megan Moreland

Megan is the older sister of Matt. Megan and Matt enjoyed going on family vacations together to Cape Cod, where Megan now resides.

Ryan Ginter

Ryan and Matt became friends as kids playing football and lacrosse for Baldwinsville. Although Matt gave Ryan a severe concussion while playing lacrosse they remained friends. Now states apart they still remain friends.

Kaitlyn Peters

Kaitlyn and Catlin first met while dancing together as kids. Through out the years they grew up going to the same high school and sharing the hobbies of dance and cheerleading. As they grew older they grew apart. After Catlin's first year of college Kaitlyn and Catlin reconnected through mutual friends. Since that summer Kaitlyn and Catlin have been the best of friends.

Matt P. and Matt M. met as infants at Koala Care Daycare. Their friendship grew through out the year from elementary school through to college.

Aaryn and Catlin first met during the summer of 2015 through Matt and his coworker, Jordan. As Matt and Jordan's friendship grew so did Aaryn and Catlin's. Aaryn and Catlin share the love for shopping, eating out, and not watching sports.

Jordan and Matt met while working for The City of Myrtle Beach. Jordan and Matt share the same love of sports and beer. Their friendship grew while watching many games over endless numbers of ice cold ones.

Laney and Catlin first met at dance class when they were 7 years old. Their friendship continued through the year of dancing together, sharing birthdays, and going to the same school for college. Laney and Catlin continued their friendship when they both moved to Myrtle Beach to start their adult lives.

Brock and Matt while working together at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. While working at Enterprise they frequently went on "lunch dates" at Magoo's Bar & Grill. Through their love of trashy bars and cold beer their friendship blossomed.

Diane and Catlin met nearly 3 years ago while teaching at a local dance studio Myrtle Beach. Through their shared passion for teaching and dance their friendship grew.

Jack first met Matt freshman year at The College at Brockport while rooming with Sean Coyne. At first Jack said, "I hate this dude, but I've got to respect his size". As the years went on their friendship developed. As roommates they became co-parents of two parakeets, Larry and Gary. Jack and Matt's friendship grew through their participation in college shenanigans.

Julie is the oldest of Catlin's sisters. Julie and Catlin grew up doing everything together from potty training to taking their first dance class together.

Bob first met Matt while attending The College at Brockport. They both participated in intermural basketball at Brockport. Bob lived with Mike and Sean, where Matt frequently visited.

Frankie Butler

Frankie is Catlin's third cousin, though they grew up more like first cousins. Frankie and Catlin grew up doing everything together, from pagents to dance, the two did it all. As the years went on they went their own ways but their friendship remained. Now as young adults they enjoy reminiscing about their childhood over adult beverages.

The newest edition to the family was born January 16th, 2018. He is the highlight of Catlin and Matt's life and they are so happy to have him be in attendance of this special day!
