Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is black-tie optional. Please dress to impress in traditional formal attire. Gowns and tuxedos are encouraged; dark colored suits and formal cocktail dresses are also welcome!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. We ask that only the guest(s) named on the invitation attend the wedding.

While we love your children, this is an adults only event.

What time is check-in at the Inn at Mendenhall?

Answer

Check-in at the Inn is 4PM; an early check-in time cannot be guaranteed. Please note that the ceremony begins promptly at 3PM at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine. We recommend that you plan to go directly to the church and check-in to the hotel after.

Will there be transportation to take us to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Short answer - no. We recommend planning to drive yourself to the church for the ceremony. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the church. We strongly encourage all of our out of town guests to stay at the Inn at Mendenhall as cocktail hour, the reception AND after party will all take place on the grounds of the Mendenhall.
