Hello everyone, and welcome to our story. Robert and I first met in the beginning of 2016, when he traveled from his hometown of Frederick, Maryland, to my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for work. After just a couple of weeks of knowing each other, Robert was scheduled to move on to the next job in the next state. We realized that the only way forward was a long-distance relationship—and we both knew it was what we wanted. Soon after, we officially began dating. A few months later, Robert quit his job, packed up his beater Ford Focus and headed northwest to Pittsburgh to be with me. That drive marked the beginning of a new chapter for us—one filled with laughter, late-night talks, and countless little adventures. The month of May will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it marks the start of everything: our story, our love, and the journey we continue to share. Now, ten years later, we’re ready to commit to forever!
