We’re so excited to see you at the wedding!

Lane proposed when we were hanging out at his parents' lake house. I don't have details because well ... I don't really remember it. But hey! I clearly said yes. We'd been talking about marriage and the ring was already on the way, so it wasn’t a declaration of love and asking to me to marry him. I got the ring later in July after picking up the package myself. I waited to unbox it until he was home. Family tradition ... my mom picked up her ring from the jewelers when she & my dad got married. She didn't wait for dad to come home to put her ring on :)
