Hello! If you asked us where did this all begin, we’d be hard-pressed to give just one answer. Was it when we were partnered together in Old Testament class? Or at the powderpuff football game? Or at our school’s weekend retreat in the Poconos? Or was it that one evening on the roof of our college? Regardless of when sparks first flew, our story officially began in 2019 when Koby finally worked up the courage to ask Catie on a date in Brooklyn. “Catie has inspired, challenged, loved, and cared for me so well in such a short time of being together. I’ve never been more amazed by a person. Her meekness resembles that of Christ, and I’m the better for it. She’s the love of my life and my best friend (who, for some reason, can't help but to roast me).” "This is so not my thing, but Koby told me I had to write something. In three years of watching Koby interact with family, friends, and strangers, I have learned through osmosis to be more generous, easygoing, humble, and loving. He is patient and gentle with me, even when I don’t deserve it. Life is good w Koby around :)” Now, our story is not even close to a perfect romance. There’s been heartache, difficult conversations, and many annoyances to overcome (Koby tells really bad jokes). But through it all, we have learned (and are still learning) God’s grace and Spirit will guide us. We are still growing in this journey to love each other well and our wedding is the exciting next step in that journey! After three years of laughing, crying, singing, and dancing, we are finally marrying our best friend. We can’t wait for September, and we hope to celebrate with you!
