Catie: "We lived down the hall from each other freshman year of college. I think the first time we met was Morgan and I knocking on his dorm room door. And then we became friends, and the rest is history." Jeremy: "We were friends. And then I waited you out."

Catie: "I was only in Charleston for a few days in between study abroad trips. He picked me up at the airport with flowers. We were both very nervous and awkward, it was very cute." Jeremy: "We went to Persimmon. It was Charleston in August so it was hot as hell"

Jeremy: "Got the ring. Planned the day. Kept it secret (except to Morgan). Did the thing. Asked the question. Didn't drop the ring." Catie: "He proposed in Charleston at the waterfront and then planned the whole day after. I was very surprised. Maybe I shouldn't have been after five years of dating, but I was. And it was perfect."
