Getting to Sun Valley! Getting to Sun Valley is not always easy, but it’s one of the reasons it has stayed authentic and quiet for all these years! The easiest option is flying into Friedman Airport (SUN) but flying into Boise (BOI) and renting a car works also! Just like any other destination ski town, we highly recommend booking early!!

The fastest way to get to Sun Valley is connecting through SLC or DEN from all major airports. The drive from Sun Valley airport in Hailey ID is a quick 20 minute drive to Sun Valley Lodge. Pro Tip: Uber’s are hard to come by here, we recommend booking a rental car or car service in advance. If you are staying at Sun Valley Lodge, we can help you coordinate airport pickup that’s included in your stay!
