Catia and Brandon were introduced by a mutual friend at a birthday celebration. Their friend had set up the meeting thinking they would hit it off. Boy was she right! After having a fun night out on the town and getting to know one and other they exchanged numbers and set up a date with just the two of them. They went to a restaurant in downtown Santa Rosa, CA called Beer Baron, where they sparked a new romance and decided that they wanted to spend more time with each other. They continued to see each other over the next few weeks until Brandon left for his three week road trip with his cousin. During that time they texted non stop, growing closer everyday while being so far away from each other. When Brandon got back, Catia met him at his house with homemade stewp to welcome him home. From then on they were inseparable. The following month after being reunited they decided to make it official between them. One night Brandon exclaimed, rather than asking, "You're my girlfriend." To which Catia replied back, "I better be." And so it was decided. This is the way. Catia and Brandon went on many adventures together which grew their love stronger and stronger each time. They travelled Europe together, Costa Rica together, Camping trips, and multiple trips to a shooting school where Catia became deadly with a pistol. Each trip and adventure they did together led to them falling more in love with each other. A year into the pandemic, Brandon had the opportunity to get a degree and start a new career. This new opportunity would take them north to Oregon. They knew that it was time to start the next chapter in both of their lives. During this transition period Brandon knew that it was the right time to ask Catia a very important question. The day Brandon proposed, Catia was beginning to feel the stress of packing up their world to move to another state away from family and friends. While she was packing up one of the rooms, Brandon snuck out to her succulent garden and called her outside. When Catia came out into the backyard, she found Brandon on his knee holding a ring for her. Brandon proposed to Catia in her garden she loved and was so proud of, at the house that their love grew from a new infatuation to a deep true love in. Catia said yes, and as a newly engaged couple they packed up their lives and moved to Oregon. Since moving to Oregon Catia has accomplished her life's dream of becoming a Licensed Esthetician and is now working at an esteemed med spa in Bend, OR. Brandon has become a licensed pilot in both planes and drones, and is one year away from finishing his aviation degree. They have come so far, and grown so much together since the beginning, and they are so happy to share this next chapter of their lives with all of you. Thank you for reading our story.
