Love!

We both worked at the same place and were part of a group called the "lunch bunch". For 2.5 years we were just co-workers & friends, then one day...everything changed. This has got to be "divine intervention" because seriously folks - with all the crazy twists & turns we've experienced, you simply can't make this story up!

It was Friday 12/21/18 - I thought we were just going to "kick-off" our Christmas weekend with a nice dinner out. Unbeknownst to me, Roger's friend had a connection and as a favor, made our reservation at a swanky restaurant with a fabulous lake view and all was set except when we showed up, they had no reservation for us! (The "connection" forgot to add our name to the guest list). The already nervous Roger really began to sweat as this is a difficult venue to reserve but in the end, we were seated at one of the best tables in one of the most beautiful venues in Las Vegas and the rest of the evening went without a hitch. It was one of the most glorious nights of my life especially when I saw my love on one knee asking me to become his wife. (The dessert & champagne were good too!!) :)
