Cathy and Michael met several years ago in Florida (2011) while working at the same company post-college. Having both attended the training class together, they quickly built a friendship during their employment. He would make fun of her Hello Kitty interest, meanwhile she would rag on him for being obsessed with Tim Tebow. During that time, they would often hang out with friends and coworkers in South Florida. Their friendship would continue to remain intact, even after he left for Denver in 2012. However, Cathy would claim otherwise as he wasn’t always great at initiating communication. At the very least, Michael would still check on her whenever the Ole Miss Rebels (Cathy's Alma Mater), would disappoint... year after year. It wasn't until 2017 that Cathy and Michael would reunite again. During her cousin's birthday party in Denver, she reached out to Michael to re-connect, and the rest is history. Through many red-eye cross-country flights, they continued to see one another nearly every month for over a year. She fell in love with the mountains and the snow, meanwhile, he quickly fell in love with the woman he would soon spend the rest of his life with. Their long distance relationship truly brought out the best in one another, enough for Michael to continue with the relationship and move back to Florida for her. In 2019, Michael proposed to Cathy at Niagara Falls. If you ask him what he said, he'll tell you that he blacked out. Although COVID-19 has thrown a wrench in the original wedding plans for 2020, they truly look forward to seeing each of you to celebrate this joyous occasion.
