Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding will be Semi-Formal: suits, cocktail dresses, or gowns are welcome.

Is it indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The entirety of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will take place indoors, although there are some outdoor areas you’ll have the option of exploring.

Can I bring a date and/or family members with me?
Answer
Please feel free to bring whomever is included in the RSVP section of this website. If the RSVP section of this website only includes your name, we ask that you do not bring a date or family with you. If you are unsure which of your family members are invited, please reach out to Cathy or Evan.

Can I use a ridesharing app like Uber or Lyft in the area?
Answer
Yes, and you are welcome to wait in the lobby following the reception for your ride to arrive.

Do you have a hotel block? How can I join?
Answer
The hotel block booking window has closed. The bride, groom, and many guests will be staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel - Melville Long Island on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15. While the discounted rates are no longer available, you’re still welcome to book room(s) at the hotel. When will the bus/shuttle to and from the venue leave?
Answer
The bus will depart the main hotel (Four Points by Sheraton Melville) promptly at 3:40pm to the venue (Coindre Hall). Following the reception, the bus will depart the venue around 10:15pm to the main hotel. It will be a school bus each time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes - there will be valet parking at the venue (Coindre Hall).

What is the closest LIRR station to the venue?
Answer
The Huntington and Cold Spring Harbor LIRR stations are each around an 11-12 minute drive away. You can take an Uber/Lyft or taxi between the venue (Chateau at Coindre Hall) and the LIRR station. At the venue, you might need to connect to WiFi to request an Uber/Lyft - (WiFi information: Lessings, password: coindrehall ), and you are welcome to wait in the venue lobby for your ride following the reception.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence is gift enough, but should you choose to give a gift - we set up a general Newlywed fund (under the "Registry" section of this website); we appreciate whatever you choose to gift us online, by mail, or in-person. We chose not to set up a standard registry (we have too much glassware as it is!), and we appreciate whatever you choose to contribute towards our future as we build our lives together.
