It didn’t happen in the usual way. Two consultants who travel for a living hardly have time to do the weekly errands or have a social life, much less find time for a date! So we did what consultants do: we outsourced a professional to do the work for us! After our first date, for more than five hours, we couldn't fly back to Atlanta soon enough to spend more time together. Brian even flew back to Atlanta for our second date, just to leave town 18 hours later!

Life in the fast lane doesn't stop there! A couple of whirlwind dates, family intros and trips to New York, California and the North Georgia Mountains sealed the deal. A few short months later we were on a hike in Sweetwater Creek State Park - 15 miles west of Atlanta - taking a quick break by the river (which were class four rapids!) without onlookers or other hikers nearby. Brian caught Cathryn completely off-guard when he proposed. She screamed and said "YES!". We can't wait to celebrate our love with those near and dear this October in Atlanta!

We tried to plan for the plan ... and then COVID happened. And then cases spiked. So we’re adjusting - and can’t wait to celebrate together. See you on October 1, 2021 ~ all the same details: same venue, same hotels, same celebration and same excited bride and groom.
