Our Story
Cathleen and Patrick met at Camp Coffee in Blowing Rock, NC during the summer of 2018. Cathleen was working at ASU the summer before her senior year, and Patrick was working as a barista before he started law school.
They were long distance for 3 years while Patrick finished law school and Cathleen completed her undergraduate and master's degrees. They had countless FaceTime dates and took advantage of any chance they had to see each other in person.
In 2021, Cathleen and Patrick moved to Washington, D.C. together to start their careers. While in DC, they adopted their rescue dog, Coconut.
They moved back to the Appalachians to Asheville, NC in the spring of 2024. They bought their first house together in 2025, giving Coconut the backyard of her dreams.
On April 25, 2025, Patrick proposed to Cathleen at the North Carolina Arboretum with a homemade scrapbook of their relationship. She said yes!
We are very excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife!
