We've known of each other for what feels like forever. Often in the same circle and attending the same church events but never saying more than just a couple of sentences to each other. It's funny to think that our love story started on a social media platform that neither of us were on. In June of 2022, Gia, Rapha's sister, decided it was about time that her brother found a girl and tweeted, "Need a dime who's mad funny to marry my brother pls and thnx no lameos". Although this Tweet wasn't seen by Cat or Rapha, it was seen by Bella, Cat's best friend. Knowing both Cat and Rapha, Bella had a hunch that they'd be the perfect match. She took the task upon herself and sent Gia this private message, "I saw your tweet and I volunteer Cathleen". After a few likes on Instagram and a few weeks of DMing, we went on our first date - yes we know, this is a very 21st century way to meet your future spouse. Opposite to our very long first date, which lasted 6 hours after, our time frame to engagement was short. After making it official, we jumped from Boyfriend and Girlfriend to Fiancées in 11 months knowing we wanted to spend forever together. Through our relationship, we've seen God's love for us. God knew exactly what each of us needed when He allowed us to cross paths. We are so excited to begin our covenant together knowing that we have each other to rest on in every season and knowing that we have Christ to rely on in every moment.
