FAQs

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our Wedding will be on a beautiful rooftop-not the sand- so leave the beachwear behind and bring your semi-formal attire. Think of cocktail dresses, slacks and button-downs. Since we're celebrating outdoors, we recommend light layers. We kindly ask that guest avoid wearing gold, champagne or neutral tones to help the wedding party stand out.

Question

When should I book my room for the wedding?

Answer

Please book your stay at Dreams Vista Cancun by October 1, 2025 to lock in our special group rate. After that, prices may go up and availability could be limited.

Question

What happens if I don’t book a room by October 1, 2025?

Answer

In order to finalize our wedding plans with the resort, only guests who book a room by October 1st will be counted as attending. We appreciate your understanding as we plan a destination wedding with limited availability.

Question

What if I miss the room booking deadline?

Answer

We’ll miss you — but we’ll also assume you’re not coming. So please book your room on time to lock in your spot at the wedding of the year.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Please fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN) — it’s about 25 minutes from the resort.

Question

Is transportation from the airport to the resort included?

Answer

Airport transfers are not included, but when you are booking your room through our Paradise website you have the option to add transportation. Transportation is $50 a person round trip and it will only be shared with our wedding guest( No Strangers).

Question

Can I stay somewhere else?

Answer

To attend wedding events, guests must stay at Dreams Vista Cancun due to resort policies. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What dates should I be there?

Answer

The wedding will take place on Monday May 4th, but we recommend arriving by Friday May 1st or Saturday May 2nd and staying through May 5th or 6th to enjoy the full celebration.

Question

Is everything really included at the resort?

Answer

Yes! That’s the beauty of all-inclusive. Your room, meals, drinks (yes, cocktails too 🍹), and most activities are all covered. Some extras like spa treatments or excursions cost extra.

Question

Are there other events besides the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Think welcome cocktails, sunshine, maybe a goodbye Cinco de Mayo celebration! All the good stuff. We’ll send a full itinerary closer to the date.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Make sure it’s valid for at least 6 months after the wedding — so double-check those expiration dates.

Question

Do I need a visa for Mexico?

Answer

If you’re a U.S. or Canadian citizen — nope! Just a valid passport. You’ll be given a tourist card (FMM) on your flight or at customs when you arrive. Keep that slip safe — you’ll need it to leave the country!

Question

When are room payments due for the wedding?

Answer

To secure your stay at Dreams Vista Cancun and be counted as attending, please follow the payment timeline: • At Time of Booking: $150 deposit per room • October 1, 2025: Last day to book and pay your deposit (This is also the RSVP deadline — no booking = no RSVP!) • December 4, 2025: 50% of your total room cost is due • February 5, 2026: Final payment due — room must be paid in full We recommend booking early to ensure availability and lock in your rate.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We truly adore your little ones and this wasn't an easy decision. However, due to limited space, we've chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of immediate family. We hope this allows everyone to relax, have fun and be fully present with us on such a special day. Thank you for understanding.
