Answer

We kindly ask that plus-ones are reserved for those with significant others or spouses, as noted on your invitation. Children are welcome—we love your little ones! However, please feel free to treat this as a fun date night if you’d prefer a kid-free evening. We want you to enjoy the celebration in whatever way feels best for you. Just let us know when you RSVP so we can have an accurate headcount. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Cocktail attire with a twist - keep it predominantly black! Ladies: It's time to bring out that little black dress you've been saving! Long or short, you can't go wrong. A sleek black jumpsuit? Yes, please! Gentlemen: Cocktail attire gives you flexibility. A collared shirt or tie is great, but not required. Pair a suit with a T-shirt for a modern vibe if you'd like! Let's aim for mostly black. White shirts are perfectly fine! If that's not your style, black jeans and a white button are just as iconic. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

The reception area is located within walking distance of the Greene Chapel on Hendrix's campus. We will have signs posted if you wish to walk. If guests wish to park closer to the reception area, there is ample parking.

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

To fully enjoy our special moment, our ceremony will be unplugged—we kindly ask guests to please put away phones and cameras so everyone can be present and the professional photographers can do their magic. We’d love to share our photos with you first, so we ask that guests wait until after the wedding day to post any pictures on social media. After that, please feel free to share and celebrate! Thank you for helping us create an intimate and memorable experience.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Here’s a quick look at the flow of the day: 4:00 PM — Ceremony begins (please arrive early to be seated) 4:45 PM — Hor d’oeuvres & mingling 5:15 PM to 8:30 PM — Reception begins with dinner, dancing, and memories made. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you!
