Our story began in February 2021, thanks to our friend Brooklynn. She invited Georgia and me to a birthday gathering at a little shop — something we almost skipped. But she promised it would be worth the trip, and she couldn’t have been more right. The moment we walked in, I noticed Tyler across the room. I leaned over to the girls and joked, “Dibs.” What followed was a night full of easy conversation, laughter, and just the right amount of flirting — even while Tyler kept teasing that I was “too young” for him. I decided the quickest way to quiet the conversation was with a kiss. We ended the night, went our separate ways, but not for long. Within days, we were texting nonstop, hanging out again, and before we knew it, we were on our first official date. What started as a random night out — a night we almost said no to — turned into the beginning of everything. In the years since, we’ve grown up side-by-side. We’ve seen each other through the highs and lows of life, celebrated our wins, learned from the hard moments, and built a home and a life we’re proud of. The biggest blessing of all has been raising our son, Beckett, together. Becoming parents changed us in the best ways — it made us stronger, closer, and more certain than ever that we were meant to walk through life together. Now, as we get ready to say “I do,” it feels like the most natural next step. A simple night in February turned into our forever — and we can’t wait for everything still ahead.
