Hey Guys! The big day is rapidly approaching, and we are super excited to see all of you and have you there to celebrate with us! We have reached a critical time, as with the current pandemic the incubation period is 10-14 days. We plan on taking every possible precaution to keep everyone safe, and we hope you all will help us with that. In the interest of everyone's health we would like to ask each of our guests to take the proper precautions over the next two weeks. Quarantining/social distancing as best as possible, Avoiding large gatherings, Monitoring yourselves for any signs or symptoms, etc. are ways we are asking you all to help us ensure the safest environment for everyone coming to the celebration! We are encouraging people to get tested the week before if they are available in your area, especially if you have traveled or attended any medium/large social events or suspect possible exposure, and respond appropriately based on the results. See all on the farm! :)
Due to COVID-19 and the safety restrictions in place, we had to make some changes to our wedding plans. As much as we would love to eat, drink and party all night with everyone, we do not feel that is in the best interest of everyone. Instead of a dinner, we are going to have a longer cocktail hour outside in an open space to allow for social distancing. We will have assigned sits for the ceremony so we can group families together while spacing everyone else apart. We ask that everyone wear a mask during the ceremony and for cocktail hour- anytime you are getting food, drink or walking around. If you are not wearing a mask, you will be asked to put on a mask and if not willing to we will ask you to leave. (we will provide mask for anyone who does not have one). We would also like for everyone to self-quarantine for 7 to 14 days before the wedding OR have a negative COVID test. If you feel sick of any kind we please ask that you do not attend the wedding. (We will find anytime, when its safe, to celebrate). Due to the number restrictions we are no longer inviting plus ones- sorry!
Our "first" date almost didn't happen, we met online (buzz buzz) and set up a date to meet for drinks but I cancelled that morning. Tc was kind enough to reschedule the date to later in the week. this time for dinner and drinks but I cancelled again (car troubles). Once again, Tc was kind enough to reschedule for a 3rd "first" date. Drinks after work on a Sunday, I was determined to show up, I told myself, "it's a free drink with a stranger- just go." So I did, I drove to the restuarant and sat in my car for 45 minutes, told him I was stuck in traffic, and called a friend. She told me "just go in, it's a free drink with a stranger." Three hours later, we were still sitting at the bar talking, the very kind bartender had to ask us to leave because they were closing. It was the best "free drink with a stranger" ever!!
