Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Catherine O'Malley and Shane Bowen
Whether you’re staying the weekend or staying the night, we wanted to share our favorite spots in Scituate!

Maria's Sub Shop

47 Front Street, Scituate, MA

Grab one on the way to the beach, it’s a Scituate tradition - and so good!

Lucky Finn Cafe

52 New Driftway, Scituate, MA

There are two locations in Scituate. The one in the Harbor is very small and has a back deck that overlooks the water. We go to the one on the Driftway because it’s less busy. You can’t go wrong with their coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

TK O'Malley's Sports Cafe

194 Front Street, Scituate, MA

Order a mudslide – it’s the best on the South Shore. Bonus points if you get the golden finger pizza and sit on the deck.

Satuit Tavern

39 Jericho Road, Scituate, MA

This is small and not fancy, but it’s always slammed because it is that good. They have the best clam chowder we’ve ever had and if you get the steak tip Caesar salad you won’t be disappointed. All their seafood is amazing here, so you can’t go wrong.

Crust

24 Country Way, Scituate, MA

Nothing tops this pizza!

Roht Marine

2205 Main Street, Marshfield, MA 02050

This is right on the Scituate border and only a short drive. They frequently have live music and it’s a great place to enjoy drinks on the water.

Vine Bar

135 Front Street, Scituate, MA 02066

Our favorite spot for tapas and wine!

Scituate Lighthouse

100 Lighthouse Road, Scituate, MA

If you want to take a scenic walk, park at the lighthouse, walk the jetty, and then make your way to the harbor for a coffee.

Peggotty Beach

Scituate, MA

If you want to have a beach day here, be aware that they ticket at all the beaches since they are private. If you are driving, get there early and park at one of the four visitor spots. Note: They fill up really quickly in the summer!

Minot Beach

Scituate, MA

There is not a lot of space to sit at high tide, so head there during low tide to watch the sunset. It is so scenic in this area and has tons of beautiful waterfront properties.

Widow's Walk Golf Course

250 Driftway, Scituate, MA

If anyone wants to play a round, this is right outside the harbor.

Nona's Homemade Ice Cream

1 Mill Wharf Plaza, Scituate, MA

This is a great option for ice cream downtown. Also, check out Dribbles which is another favorite.

Welch Company

132 Front Street, Scituate, MA

This is my favorite shop in the harbor, but check out Joye and Out of the Blue as well.

For all the days along the way
