Maid of Honor
The best sister in the world! My protector and confidant since birth. We bond over many things, but Billy Madison references probably best encapsulate our odd, yet special, sense of humor. The obvious (and only) choice for Maid of Honor.
Best Man
I met Quincy my first day on OU campus back in 2001, and we've been best friends ever since. We were roommates for two years in college and been there for each other during both of our journeys. It was great to hear that him and his wife, Royce, were making the move to the east coast, and we've already gotten to watch subpar OU football together. I'm glad that he's going to be standing up there on my wedding day as my best man!
Bridesmaid
One of the OG ride-or-dies, Robin came into my life sophomore year at GW when we were placed together in probably the worst dorm ever. We bonded over our wickedly mean sense of humor and shared Asian heritage. Fast forward 20 + years and she's still the bestest bestie ever. Selfless and compassionate, one of the best humans in the world. Period.
Groomsman
When I met Carlos in 2006 while stationed in Alaska, he threw up the horns, I threw down the horns, and we've been great friends ever since. We got lucky in getting stationed again in the Washington D.C. area for another six years where we played plenty of golf and watched a ton of football (basically Alaska all over again). Glad he's able to make it to the east coast again to spend this special day with Cathy and I.
Bridesmaid
The other OG ride-or-die, Julie came into my life while at college at GW, bonding over a shared love of John Mayer and all things related to beautification (makeup, hair, clothes...you get the gist). Over the years, we've grown up and seen each other through many of life's stages. I've watched her become the best wife to Brad, and mother to Violet, Logan and Gabriel. She is honestly the kindest person in the world.
Groomsman
I met Aaron while stationed at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency back in 2015 and while we didn't work together for long (Aaron got stationed in Hawaii), we kept in contact and became great buds. I'm thankful that he's been able to stay in the DMV for the past six years where we've watched plenty of football and basketball, while hanging at our favorite spot G34.3 Brewing Company (haha). So happy that he's spending this special day with us! And ladies, he's single!
