YES! The seating is very limited so please RSVP as soon as possible or you will not be included in the final count. Thank you in advance for understanding.
The Promontory Point is a little castle on the pier near 55th across from the museum. After parking there is a 3-5 minute walk that includes a underpass and then a stroll through the park up to the Promontory Area. Please make sure to give yourself enough time to make it to the ceremony area before 3:30PM. Take the necessary precautions or make arrangements based on your personal or health needs. Everything is handicap accessible as this is part of the Chicago Park District.
We love the children as much as you do but for this event please make other arrangements. Seating is very limited and we really want to spend this special moment with as many of our close family and friends as possible. Thank you
Please contact us personally if you are not sure if a +1 is expected for you. We really have done our best to be respectful of everyone but the reality is that all will not be able to attend due to seating. We will contact you if you RSVP for more than we can allow also. Love you!
Indeed. Hyatt McCormick Place is the lucky winner. Please use this link below to make reservations. https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/CHIMC/G-GTHO Thanks for your patience.
Our theme is Rustic Charm with a touch of Elegance so please take from that what you will. It is a summer day in July on the lakefront of Chicago so while I expect it to be very hot and sunny it can also be windy and cool. I guess we all will know soon enough but please note no suit and tie required as this is not black tie. Resort appropriate and summer chic comes to mind. Think cotton, linen or khaki. I don't think I need to say it but please no jeans or sports attire. Thank you.
There is an hourly parking lot at 55th and Lake Shore Dr across from Bar Louie. It is normally very busy on summer days. There is some street parking that is free and meter but is almost never available. There are handicap parking spaces but limited and again often unavailable. I strongly recommend drop off and 3rd Party transportation.
