Not at all! Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate. You don’t need to be Catholic to be present at the Nuptial Mass.

Question

Can non-Catholics receive Communion?

Answer

Out of respect for Catholic beliefs, Communion is typically reserved for practicing Catholics who are prepared to receive it. If you’re not receiving, you’re welcome to remain seated or come forward for a blessing (just cross your arms over your chest).
